The theme for this year's 40th Annual Research Conference is "I Tano, I Tasi yan I Taotao Siha: Boundaries, Balance & Behaviors".

Proposals related to the multidisciplinary intersections of the collaborative projects, social sciences, liberal arts, humanities, and more, relevant for the Pacific region are welcome. Local, regional, and global scholars, scientists, visual and theatrical artists, and students may propose traditional session formats such as the conventional presentation of an academic paper or participate in the informative poster session. Presenters may also propose innovative sessions to share their research and experiences such as illustrated talks, interactive panels and demonstrations, and engaging performances.

Proposals are open, but not limited to faculty and undergraduate and graduate students in any discipline.  Other professionals or artists not affiliated with an academic institution but interested in sharing their relevant professional work through this research conference platform are also encouraged to submit proposals. Please note that off-island presenters and participants are responsible for securing appropriate travel visas and arranging their own travel and accommodations.
